Insulating Joint’s application is to provide on pipeline electrical isolation and commonly used when the cathodic protection is present to prevent any interference in corrosion control.

The Nik-San’s insulating joint is proposed to be installed above the ground, or in an inspection pit in dry conditions to limit the possibility of electrical connecting across the joint. It is projected to be girth welded between two pipeline segments.
